what is the cheapest time to come to Thailand

I plan to retire to Thailand in 5 years, contrary to many I am more interested in buddhism and religion than other things. I can come anytime and from the US Northwest. What airlines are the cheapest and best time? thnaks

No one could reply to your questions...not even the Airlines know what there prices will be in 5 years time. If you are planning a visit prior to retirement, the "low" season is during the middle of the year.Airline prices and accomodation are usually the lowest during this period. Ask your travel agent for the "specials" as sometimes they get a better price than the ones published on the Internet.....or if yiu want to do your own searching....find out which Airlines fly out of your local Airport and check them out for prices online. Sometimes you may have to use a local Airline to get to a major International Airport where you could catch a connecting flight....if you have time...just search all the possibilities. Do your own search for accomodation in Thailand as the Agents tend to go for the higher end of the market(more commission I suppose!)..once here....do your own thing....there are even Buddhist Temples where you can stay free
